There are 3 teaspoons in 1 tablespoon. So, if a recipe calls for 1 tablespoon of baking powder, you can substitute it with 3 teaspoons of baking powder. Similarly, if a recipe specifies an amount in teaspoons and you need to convert it to tablespoons, you can divide the number of teaspoons by 3 to get the equivalent amount in tablespoons.
