  3. Gasification Stage: The volatile gases produced during pyrolysis mix with the incoming air in the gasification zone. This mixture reacts at high temperatures, breaking down the complex molecules to form syngas, which consists mainly of hydrogen, carbon monoxide, and some methane.

  4. Combustion Stage: The syngas, now produced in the gasification zone, rises to the combustion zone, where it mixes with additional oxygen from the air intake. The syngas combusts with the oxygen, producing heat and a clean flame.

The gasification process in these stoves allows for a more efficient and cleaner combustion of biomass, resulting in reduced smoke emissions and higher thermal efficiency compared to traditional open-fire stoves.

Gasifier stoves can be an excellent sustainable solution for cooking and heating in regions with limited access to modern energy sources. They help improve indoor air quality, reduce deforestation, and decrease greenhouse gas emissions.
