If there is no gas supply to a gas stove, nothing will happen when you turn on the stove's burner knobs. In a gas stove, turning the burner knob opens the gas valve, allowing gas to flow to the burner. When you ignite the gas with the stove's built-in ignition system or a match, it creates a flame that heats the cookware and allows you to cook.

Without gas, the burner will not ignite, and you won't get any heat. If you suspect that there is an issue with your gas supply, it's essential to check the gas source, such as the gas line or the gas cylinder, to ensure there is no interruption or leakage in the supply. In case of a gas supply problem, it's best to contact a qualified technician to inspect and resolve the issue for safety reasons.
