  4. Variable frequency drive: The inverter uses a variable frequency drive to control the speed of the compressor motor. The frequency drive converts the incoming AC power into DC power and then inverts it back into AC power with a variable frequency and voltage output. By adjusting the frequency of the AC power supplied to the compressor, the inverter can control the motor speed and power consumption.
