No, it is not possible to dry water with a microwave. Microwaves work by emitting electromagnetic waves that excite the water molecules, causing them to vibrate and generate heat. This heat then evaporates the water, turning it into steam. However, once all the water has evaporated, there is nothing left to heat or evaporate further.

If you place a container of water in a microwave and run it for an extended period, the water will eventually reach its boiling point and turn into steam. The steam will then escape from the container, effectively removing the water from it. However, the microwave itself does not have the ability to "dry" the water or remove moisture from it beyond this evaporation process.
