If you want to remove the seasoning from a cast iron skillet, you can follow these steps:

  1. Preheat your oven: Set your oven to a high temperature, usually around 450°F (232°C). This will help to loosen the seasoning and make it easier to remove.

  2. Place the skillet in the oven: Put the cast iron skillet upside down on the oven rack or a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil to catch any drips.
